All That’s Exciting and New at Written Expressions!

Yep, it’s just me, Dakota, with news update for Written Expressions, one of my much loved publishing companies.  After a small leave of absence by our faithful leader, Milena (who’s expecting in the spring), we’re back on track and let me tell you the changes coming along are so exciting.  With the help of several people including Milena’s wonderful husband, Ben, during the downtime, we got an updated and brand-new looking site!  You should check this thing out! It’s just simply wonderful and is one of the many changes in store for Written Expressions for 2010!

Not only have we a much upgraded site, we also now have author pages and words are just flowing as more stories are being submitted and readied for publication.  Ms. Gomez has been busy at work and found us several new vendors for our short stories! This is just wonderful!  Along with this we have two new series of books coming out this year so far.

The first, The Forbidden Fruit Series is rolling right along.  The first book in this fruit themed series, Sweet Strawberry by Ana Star, has already been released and soon to be followed Nick Armbrister’s Banana Nana and my book Eternity.  In the next few months we get to look forward to also reading Oranges for Apples by Millie Andersen and Saving Natalie by Vivian Vincent.  (I know, you’re probably thinking Eternity and Saving Natalie seem out of place, but I assure they are not! Eternity’s story revolves around the forbidden peaches of China, and Saving Natalie gives us an inside view of the fruit of the gods, the yummy papaya.)  Just thinking about this series makes me hungry!

Our next series is called Sex-stones.  Five of us authors have gotten together and decided to do a sexy short for our birth months.  In this wonderful series, the lucky readers are going to see the naughty things that our birthstones inspire.  Whether its garnets, diamonds, rubies or sapphires this anthology is sure to tempt even the tamest of us. Personally I can’t wait to read these stories. What hot blooded woman wouldn’t like pretty bling and hot sex?
